Afghan Kush

Afghan Kush

Afghan Kush: Indica ****

Description: Light green bud with orange hairs and nice trichome action. This bud was sticky and kind of prickly but never dry. Mine was a bit green smelling but you can definitely start to smell the earthy, tea-like terpines as it cures.

This was truly a journey worth taking. I got this from a friend and the first this out of my cousin’s mouth after he picked up one of the buds was, “Uh, sorry bro!” What do you mean “sorry bro”? What the fuck, bro!
Turns out this was a gem hidden in the rough. While I wasn’t happy to see like A THOUSAND FAN LEAVES the true bud definitely lives up to the legend. I wouldn’t consider this to be the stickiest or the hairiest, or the most crystalized bud on the planet but there’s something to be said for “workable weed”.
“What is workable weed?” you must be wondering right now. Well, this is the weed I want in my bowl before I have to be calm, cool, and collected. Something I struggle with on the daily is anxiety. It’s like I have a ninety-year-old woman locked on to my wrist. She never says anything, just stares, and anchors me. If I could just get my depression and anxiety on a Segway I would be SOOOO much more functional. I digress.
This is everything I hoped it would be, Zen. Perhaps it’s just the change in seasons but sometimes is I need to get the pep back in my step. This is a doer, not a thinker so I give it points on the pain control scale as well.
